展覽介紹
2017年8月，Morant於佛光緣美術館紐西蘭二館舉辦個展「Ringing True」，展出250多幅作品取得成功。
隨後Morant在與館長滿信法師和佛光青年在道場的一次座談中，他看到青年身著一色Polo衫上「Rhythm of the World」的字樣，感受到音樂的穿透力,決定以「人間音緣」作為他在佛光緣美術館紐西蘭一館油畫展出的主題，這是他另一次跨越音樂、藝術、語言、信仰及生命的藝術展出。他用大半年的時間潛心創作出一幅幅靈動的作品，也將音律與和諧展現於各個層面。
2018年8月，70幅新作於佛光緣美術館紐西蘭一館展出，每件作品都是獨一無二，展示抽象與和諧的融合。他希望這些透過心靈和畫筆表現出生命中的各種善美音符來供養大眾，這些善美的音符就是最動人的「人間音緣」。
兩次的展出，讓Morant認識了佛光山，認同星雲大師文化弘法的理念，同時也跟道場法師成為好朋友，2019年Morant表示要將105件作品送給佛光山。有感於這樣的跨國情誼，佛光緣美術館總部即規劃展開世界巡迴展，同時出版這本典藏作品集作為紀念！
Morant held his large solo exhibition「Ringing True」of over 250 paintings at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Christchurch in August 2017 with great success. During a discussion with Curator Abbess Manshin and the youth, Morant was inspired by the words「Rhythm of the World」on the youth’s polo shirt. He felt the power of the music and decided to use Rhythm of the World as his theme in the Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Auckland exhibition. This exhibition spans music, art, language, faith and life. He spent more than half a year creating a series of works that show rhythm and harmony on all levels. In August 2018, 70 new paintings were exhibited at Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Auckland. Each artwork is unique, protruding a fusion of abstraction and harmony. Morant hopes to express this to the public through mind and art, drawing all the good and beautiful notes in life; these beautiful notes are the most touching Rhythm of the World.
Morant was introduced to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple via the two exhibitions. He sees eye to eye with Venerable Master Hsing Yun's philosophy of propagating the Dharma through culture. At the same time, he became good friends with the venerable at the temple. In 2019, Morant expressed his will to gift 105 of his artworks to Fo Guang Shan. Due to this transnational affinity, Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Headquarters started planning for a world tour and simultaneously launched this special collection edition as a sign of commemoration.
